[There is a small town by the ocean. The population is just as small. On this particular day, the town is promoting socialization amongst the residents and visitors. In order to make this work, some of the residents were asked to stick around. They are doing so either reluctantly or by choice.

Aforementioned residents and their locations are as follows:

Cheren (idyllicstrength) - He's at the library, reading a book about Pokemon battling. He also has a book on Normal type Pokemon, which has yet to be touched.
Ion (daathic) - He's at the chapel, which is the closest thing to home for him. At the moment, he's reading some of the texts out of curiosity.
Sayaka (maidensprayer) - She's currently at the school, having failed in math and thus being forced to study up on it. Needless to say, she'd rather be somewhere else.
Alice (awakenedlight) - She's at the beach, looking out into the horizon. Surprisingly, she's never seen such a sight before, so for her it's quite mesmerizing.
Kyrie (dormantwraith) - He's in a dark alley, hoping that no one will notice him. Despite this, he's loudly bitching over the idiot who thought it'd be a good idea to have him stick around.
Loke (awakenedfiesta) - He's at a bar, which happens to have one of those internet jukeboxes that let the public pick what songs play. He's silently praying that no one will put on any sort of dance music.
Tetsuko (steelheart) - She's just outside town in a somewhat isolated part. They let her do this because she wanted to train her Pokemon, most which are heavy and know Earthquake.]

((OOC: Pick a character, any character! There's no need to have to tag 'em with a character from their canon, either~ Also I know that the prompts and stuff suck but I didn't feel like coming up with anything else ^^;))

[ Cute guy in glasses? Check. Sitting in a boring place that can be easy to get out of? Also check. Sorry, Cheren, but this Minako-sama is going to interrupt your program by being obnoxious...! ]

Hey, you over there!

[As much as he'd like to ignore the voice calling out to him, Cheren's learned that it's simply easier to respond. He puts down the book and looks up in Minako's direction.]

What is it?

Obviously it looks like this guy is not worth it. But she's already started on her trek of destruction, so she might as well go for it. ]

Are you free right now?

[The only reason why Cheren's still here is to socialize, so it's not exactly an offer he can refuse. Besides, it's not like he can't read later.]

I suppose. [He picks up the other book and stands up.] I don't suppose you have anything in mind? [Because if you do, it'd save time.]

[Yukina was just wondering around until she sees her. The girl who looks exactly like her.

She's completely confused. With a cold look and a calm voice, Yukina glares at the girl, displeased.]

And who do you think you are?

[Funny how you notice the girl first rather than the giant steel snake beside her.

...Except Tetsuko probably would've done the same thing.]

I'd like to ask you the same thing. I didn't think I had a long lost twin. [And damn, that's some glare you have. Let's not pierce any hearts with it now, OK?]

Well, I'm pretty sure I don't have a twin sister.

[Not that her family would have noticed, anyway.]

Good, 'cause I don't either. [Not that it would've mattered to her anyways.]

So if you're not my twin sister, then are you...a clone? [Unlikely as that sounds, the idea sounds pretty cool to her.]

[And interrupting that view of the ocean, Alice, is a body. There's a boy being washed ashore. He's definitely unconscious, and looks no older than thirteen at the very oldest.

...zzzzzzz....]

[From a distance, it doesn't seem like anything. She continues walking in your direction--

Waitwaitwait.

Is that a person?

OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD.]

H-hey, are you OK!?

[zzzzzzmrrrrthat is a voice we are tired but this is not new

Who is coming to see us anyway? Not many people know about him and that is definitely not Mao's voice. It takes him a few long moments to get those red eyes of his open. They promptly shut tight against that bright sun - he hasn't been outside in a year, maybe more.

...What was the question again...? His head is so foggy, and he has no idea where he is, or what's going on, and-- It's when he tells himself to breathe that he suddenly realizes his lungs aren't working too well. Instinct gives his coughs more force than energy does, let's get that seawater out of there. Okay, now let's try the eyes gain.

Much better - he can actually keep them open, albeit not very, now. Okay, unfamiliar girl, unfamiliar girl, why... Something. Why something?]

Who? [The word comes out kind of raspy, and very, very quiet.]

[She breathes a heavy sigh of relief, and a smile spreads across her face.] Oh, thank GOODNESS you're OK. You were just laying there and so I thought you might've been badly injured or worse! [Now what was she gonna do--OH YEAH.] My name is Alice! What's your name?

[He'd think that whether or not he's okay is debatable, but that's a little more complex than he's capable of right now. It takes him another moment to process the question.]

Leo... [It's pretty clear he hasn't been outside in a long time. He's thin, without much muscle to speak of, and very pale.]

Where?

[aaand, here's Anise. Popping up right beside you, Ion. Slightly glancing over your shoulder in her own curiosity.]

What'cha doing, Ion?

Oh, Anise. [He turns to his companion, texts still in hand.] I was just reading about this world's primary religion. It's quite different from what we're used to.

[ Oh..., well, that was boring. She sighs before sitting down next to him.]

Isn't that fun.

[He chuckles.] It's a lot of text, but it's nice to read about a society that doesn't always follow something like the Score.

[Anyways, he's more interested in how you're doing. He hasn't seen you in a while, seeing how he's been in this town for quite some time.] So, Anise, what brings you here?

[Sorry, Ion, as much as she loves being with you all she hears about the book is 'blahblahblahscore'. She smiles at him when he asks his question though.]

Just stopping here for a bit~ Making sure the Fon Master doesn't read too much. [She's purely teasing.]

C'mon, Ion, let's go do something fun! [She gets up and slightly pulls at your sleeve.]

[That makes two; Sayaka isn't the only one having trouble with her math. It's not really actual trouble as opposed to simply re-tutoring herself; Filia forgot a lot, after all.

...Though, seeing Sayaka a few seats ahead stopped Filia. Huh, she didn't notice someone there before...well. She could definitely put aside her need for retutoring to help someone out! She'll just get up...]

Hey! [And try to sound as friendly as an exchange student can be.]

[Man, who decided to add all these letters and weird symbols into math? Why couldn't it just be plain old numbers?

Fortunately, Filia's being there is just what Sayaka needs.]

Hey! [It's so nice to see she isn't alone!] Did they make you stay here, too?

[Filia shakes her head.] Not really. I've been forgetting so much lately, I just decided that I needed the re-tutoring.

[She doesn't have any plans to go farther on that, so she'll just change the subject. Man is she thankful Samson isn't opening his mouth...] Are you having trouble with these problems? You looked like you could use some help.
